How the name, Sirocco Blues, was chosen: When we first purchased the house and moved in, along with the house we inherited a tired old battle-worn male tomcat who lived entirely outdoors and who was a glorious, velvety grey/blue in colour. After months of gaining his trust, we adopted him, calling him “Blue”. Old Blue lives on in name only and we honoured him by including him in the name of the house. The ‘Sirocco’ aspect is about our being southerners. We first came to Blackpool for a visit and fell in love with the town, its people and its rich history. It is now our home and we look forward to sharing that enthusiasm with our guests
Absolutely brilliant time, could fault nothing. Absolutely spotless Janey the owner just could not do enough for us. The breakfast was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend if you want an easy relaxing time in a superbly run establishment. Will definitely be going back
Having stayed at the Sirocco Blues Guest House recently, I would certainly recommend it as very welcoming. We stayed in the family room which has been refurbished to a high standard, as has the dining room. Janey, the owner, especially made our visit quite special being so friendly & accommodating - nothing was too much trouble.
Nice, clean and comfy room, newly refurbished to a great standard, breakfast was tasty and filling, lovely owner very friendly creates a fantastic atmosphere, would go back tomorrow, fantastic little place!!!
This is a wonderful place, the host is really helpful and the breakfast was great and as much as I could eat. The room was clean and comfortable.
